Award-winning journalist Tamron Hall is an advocate for victims, survivors, and their families. Tamron will continue to share the stories of those effected by crime on her new daytime talk show, “Tamron Hall.”
Since 2013, Tamron has hosted “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” on Investigation Discovery, where she walks viewers step by step through a series of riveting and heart-wrenching murder investigations. With a team of experts, Tamron goes beyond the headlines to not only explore what happened, but ask why.
Tamron presents the cases with unusual empathy since she knows first-hand the effect of violent crime – her older sister Renate was murdered after years of domestic abuse. Since then, Tamron has been an advocate for victims and survivors. She partnered with Safe Horizons to create the The Tamron ♥ Renate Fund to help victims and their families.
“We’re stronger when there are people who are willing to stand with you and hold your hand,” Tamron told Safe Horizons. “Whether in court if it comes to that, in finding a new home or a school for your child and, if needed, a temporary place to call home – a shelter for you and your children. There is somebody willing to stand with you. You just have to open your heart and tell them.”
The all-new season of Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall premieres Sunday, September 8 at 10/9c, only on Investigation Discovery.
